I traveled with husband and 9-year-old daughter. We found a very well-maintained and clean park, including bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi in the entrance area and free solar paneled cell phone charging stations. Lots of staff ready to show you routes and direct traffic (parking, ferries and little train). Route C is very varied, easy and makes for a really nice visit! The wooden walkways in some sections are a bit sparse and you have to be careful where you put your feet; in many places there are no guards, it certainly improves the aesthetics but you have to be careful where you walk. The people are very polite , you walk well, the entrances are limited to time slots, despite the sold out there were no particular queues or "traffic" on the walkways. Very good experience! There are several refreshment stations, we suggest bringing snacks and food to eat along the way or while waiting for the ferry/train.

The Plitvice lakes are fairytale-like. Must see. Buying tickets online was easy but need to download an app to view them, they don't come via email. Just do it and that's it. Despite the fact that it was August 20, we entered at the appointed time without a second of queuing. Admission was at 12 noon due to lack of availability in the morning having purchased them only a day before. No problem. Even taking the long tour 4/5 hours is more than enough for a top experience!
